The main indications for treatment

Acute toothache, mild to moderate pain is a sign of pulpitis and an indication for urgent medical attention. The doctor will stop the inflammatory process, preserve and restore the damaged tooth. The dentist will remove the pulp (primary pulp) and fill the void with filling material.

Treatment stages

X-ray to assess the shape and number of canals.
Dissection - removal of old fillings and tissues affected by caries with rotary instruments and a manual method to access the canals, expanding and cleaning them from inflamed pulp or filling material.
Antiseptic treatment, if necessary, the introduction of an antibiotic.
Determination of length using an apex locator.
Sealing (filling with a suitable material).
After the end of the work, we carry out a control X-ray examination to assess the quality of the filling.
